Customer Reviews
Good deal on Lanshan 2
I was looking for a new tent and saw the Lanshan 2. The price was already good, but I managed to snag a first-order discount which made it even better. Shipping took a little while, but it was free, so I can't complain much. Felt like a solid purchase for the money.
Great value on accessories
I was looking to upgrade some of my small gear without spending a ton. I ended up getting the Titanium Pot, an Ultralight Stove, and some new Tent Stakes during a small sale. The total was way less than what I would have paid elsewhere for similar items. Everything arrived packed well and works as expected. The pot is super light, exactly what I needed. For someone trying to save money on good quality ultralight gear, this place is worth checking out.
Good tent, fast shipping
Ordered a Floating Cloud 1 tent. Arrived in about two weeks. Setup was simple. Quality seems good for the price. No complaints.
Reliable gear, as usual
This isn't my first rodeo with 3F UL GEAR. I've bought a few things from them over the years, including an Ultralight Rain Kilt and some Compression Sacks previously. This time I needed a new Qidian Pro Backpack. The quality is consistently good for the price point, and it arrived without any fuss, just like my past orders. They're my go-to for budget-friendly ultralight stuff; always know what to expect.
Another solid purchase
This was my third order from 3F UL GEAR, grabbed the Qidian Pro Backpack this time. My previous Lanshan 1 Pro tent has been great, and the new backpack seems just as well made. Shipping was consistent with my past experiences, usually takes about two weeks to hit the US. I keep coming back because their gear holds up and the prices are hard to beat for the quality you get. Never had an issue with any of my orders, which is why I'm a return customer.
Got my Lanshan 2!
I finally pulled the trigger on the Lanshan 2 and it got here pretty quick, like earlier than the tracking said. It was super easy to set up in the backyard. Can't wait to take it out on a real trip. Seems like a good tent for the price, definitely happy with it.
Got my stuff, it's good
Needed a new sleeping pad and some Titanium Spork for my next camping trip. Found this site, everything looked decent. Ordered them, and they showed up when they said they would. The pad is comfy, and the spork is, well, a spork. Easy peasy, no complaints. I'd probably buy from here again if I need more gear.
Decent backpack, long wait
I got the Yue 45L Backpack and it's a pretty good pack for the money. The materials feel durable enough and it's comfortable for a day hike. However, it took almost three weeks to arrive, which felt a bit long even with free shipping. Customer service was responsive when I asked about the tracking, so that was a plus. The stitching on one of the side pockets isn't perfectly straight, but it doesn't affect functionality. Overall, it's a solid value if you're not in a rush to get your gear.
Solid tent, minor shipping hiccup
I picked up the Lanshan 2 Pro after reading a bunch of reviews, and overall, I'm quite satisfied. The tent itself is great for its weight and held up well on my last trip. Assembly was straightforward. My one minor critique is the shipping time; it took a bit longer than I anticipated, and tracking updates weren't always the most precise. It did arrive safely packed, though. Customer service was responsive when I inquired about the delay. Good value, but a slightly faster or more transparent shipping process would make it perfect.

can you combine the first-time buyer discount with a sale item like the Lanshan 1 pro that's on sale right now?
how long does shipping usually take to California? need a tent for a trip in about 3 weeks.
are these tents actually good quality or just cheap knockoffs of more expensive brands? like compared to Zpacks or something.
What's their return policy like? If I get a tent and it's not what I expected, is it a hassle to send back?
I'm looking at the Lanshan 2 Pro, but also considering a Durston X-Mid. How does 3F UL Gear stack up against Durston in terms of quality for a similar tent?
